1. Pick the right tool first

The downloader box starts with a row of six tools: Reels, Stories, Highlights, Photos, DP and Explore Profile. Choosing the tool first tells our engine exactly what to fetch — one search becomes one targeted request, so results come back faster and nothing is wasted. Changed your mind? Just tap another tool; anything you already loaded stays on screen.

2. Download a reel or video

  1. Select the Reels tool.
  2. Type the creator's @username (e.g. nasa) and press Download.
  3. Their reel grid appears — every card shows the thumbnail, duration and likes.
  4. Press Download on the reel you want. It saves in original quality, no watermark.

Have a direct instagram.com/reel/… link instead? Paste it into the same box — we detect the link automatically and either start the download right away or take you to the creator's grid where that exact reel is one tap away.

3. Save stories anonymously

  1. Select the Stories tool and type the username.
  2. Every story posted in the last 24 hours appears as a card.
  3. Press Save story on each one you want.

Photos save as JPG, videos as MP4, always in original quality — and no view is registered on Instagram.

4. Download highlight albums

  1. Select the Highlights tool and type the username.
  2. Every pinned album shows as a circular cover with its title.
  3. Tap an album — the stories inside load as downloadable cards.
  4. Use All albums to jump back and open another one.

5. Grab a full-size profile picture (DP)

  1. Select the DP tool and type the username.
  2. The profile picture appears in large size with the account's stats.
  3. Press Download HD profile picture — the full-resolution file (up to 1080×1080) saves instantly.

6. Download photos and carousels

  1. Select the Photos tool and type the username.
  2. Feed photos and carousel slides appear as individual cards.
  3. Download only the ones you want — or use Load more to keep browsing.

7. Explore a whole profile at once

  1. Select the Explore Profile tool (the last one) and type the username.
  2. The full profile card appears: avatar, bio, follower stats.
  3. Use the inner tabs to browse Reels, Posts, Stories and Highlights without retyping anything.

This is the best choice when you are browsing a creator rather than hunting one specific file — everything about the account lives in a single view.

Which tool should you use?

  • One specific reel? Reels tool — or paste the reel's link directly.
  • Disappearing content? Stories tool — before the 24 hours run out.
  • Pinned albums? Highlights tool.
  • Feed pictures? Photos tool.
  • Just the profile picture? DP tool.
  • Browsing everything? Explore Profile — it's a full media browser.

Good to know

  • No login, ever. If a downloader asks for your Instagram password, it's a scam.
  • Private accounts are off-limits by design — that's a feature, not a bug.
  • Rate limits exist to keep the service fast for everyone. Wait a minute if you see a notice.
  • Respect creators: personal use is fine; re-posting needs permission and credit.
