  • Usage counters: we keep anonymous aggregate counters (for example, total number of downloads served) to display site statistics. These counters contain no personal identifiers.
  • Rate-limit data: we temporarily store truncated IP addresses to enforce fair-use rate limits and prevent abuse of the service. Rate-limit records expire automatically and are never shared.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider may collect standard web server log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
  • Local storage: your "recent downloads" list and cookie-consent choice are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. This data never leaves your browser and you can clear it anytime via your browser settings.

2. Cookies and advertising

We use a minimal set of cookies and browser storage for site functionality (remembering your consent choice). In addition, this site displays advertising through Google AdSense.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Hosting and CDN providers: standard infrastructure services that process server logs for security.

5. Data retention

Contact messages are retained for up to 24 months so we can maintain support history, after which they may be deleted. Rate-limit entries expire within minutes to hours. Aggregate counters are not personal data and may be retained indefinitely. Local-storage data lives in your browser until you clear it.

6. Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our contact form, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, the EU/EEA under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Since we collect almost no personal data, the main actionable case is contact-form data: email us via the contact form and we will honor deletion requests within 30 days.

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to our database is restricted to site administrators. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we apply industry-standard practices to protect the limited data we hold.
